✨BTC and ETH have been on a downward trend this past week, bringing the prices of both cryptocurrencies to two-month lows.

✨Over the past week, the crypto market decreased ~$25B (from ~$1,161B to ~$1,136B) of its total capitalization.

✨BTC Struggles With $27K
✅The past several days didn't go well for the primary cryptocurrency. It all started on Wednesday when the asset jumped from $27,5K to $28,4K in minutes after the US CPI numbers came out for April.

✅Even so, BTC plummeted to $25.8K – a two-month low, despite efforts by bulls to stop it.

✅Nevertheless, it managed to bounce off and even challenge $27K in the past 24 hours. Currently, the asset trades higher inches from that level, and its market cap has increased to $526B. Its Dominance over the alts is also flat on a daily scale at 46.4%.

✨PEPE Back on the Offensive
✅BSCS is trading at $0,011, +3,48% from its 7-day all-time low of $0,01063.

✅Although on a weekly scale, PEPE is still down more than 30%, but with the price increase of 20% in the past day, there may be a return of PEPE and meme-coins.

✅In contrast, the larger-cap alts sit quieter, with little-to-no movements from ETH, NB, XRP, ADA, DOGE, SOL, and many others.

✅Total market capitalization is $1,136B, down slightly from last week.

✨Bitcoin Fear and Greed Index is 50 - Neutral, lower than at the beginning of the week (60)

✨The cryptocurrency market had another gloomy week as major coins like Bitcoin or Ethereum prices continued to move sideways without noticing any noticeable movement.

✨Over the past week, the crypto market decreased ~$20B (from ~$1,136B to ~$1,116B) of its total capitalization.

✨BTC Uncertain at $27K
✅Last week started positively for BTC, which jumped to over $27,6K after the stagnant weekend. However, that was short-lived, and the asset retraced to below $27K in a matter of days. Another price pump followed that drove it back up to $27,5K, which, yet again, was stopped in its tracks.

✅This time, the rejection was even more vigorous, pushing BTC south to a weekly low of $26,4K. The bulls tried to intercept the move.

✅As such, bitcoin returned to the familiar ground of around $27K and stood there for a few days. BTC has been losing some value since then and now stands under $27K.

✅Its market cap has risen slightly to $518B, while its dominance over the altcoins sits close to 46.4%.

✨Altcoins In A Sea of Green
✅BSCS is trading at $0,01071, +3,85% from its 7-day all-time low of $0,01032.

✅The past week has been a bit positive for altcoins; BNB, XRP, ADA, MATIC, SOL, LTC, DOT, and TRX have all jumped by up to 2% in a day.

✅After making several savvy investors millionaires overnight, PEPE was listed on multiple prominent exchanges, including Binance, which was a sell-the-news moment. PEPE lost momentum, and its market cap dumped over a billion in days.

✅The past 24 hours were much more favorable for the meme coin, as it has added over 12% of its value and is back within the top 70 largest cryptocurrencies.

✅Total market capitalization is $1,116B
