Civilization comes at a cost.
The price is steep, all things good and mighty surrendered, virility, wildness, risk. It costs our Strength, our Courage, our Wisdom, our mastery of self and most of all our honor and nobility.

Civilization has never been sustainable because it either dies through a thousand cuts or erodes from non-homogeneous “culture”.

Tribal unity, homogenous identity and values. These things make for a strong people, not the illusion of a civilized “culture”.

Epilogue: Cults of Hyperborea

The Ethnic Faith of Hyperborea is replete with many complex simplicities, everything both more than we think and less complicated than one may expect. At the center of all of this is not the Gods or Spirits but the people. Your neighbor and your family, your children and your grandparents. This is what we have tried to encapsulate in the past two weeks in our “Cults of Hyperborea” series. What makes you YOU? What way do you continue the tradition of Ethnic Faith? More important than what god or spirit you follow, which pantheon or region you belong to is “Who are you?” That is the key to the revival of Ethnic Faith, the at times painful introspection necessary to recognize “Who We Are”.

For Ethnic Faith by its very nature is too multifaceted to ever be contained. It is not written in books or on mountain faces it is written in the soul and blood of every last one of us. While we may deny it or pretend it isn't there it is a part of us. We are born into it. We do not return to it or convert to it, WE REMEMBER IT! Every celebration, every custom, every action we perform, every decision we make continues the Never Ending Story of Us!

These Cults are but a starting place, a template to begin this introspection. Their return will begin to heal the cracks brought about by the alienation of our own Soul in favor of foreign gods, concepts and philosophy's that so afflict us. Would you find yourself one desiring to heal the people of their ailments spiritual, mental, social, emotional and physical? Would you find yourself bringing wonder and joy to the lives of people even in times of peril, fear and Death? Would you return the balance of mankind and the natural environment, the natural order restored in soul and in form? Would you boldly go where no one has gone before? Would you put it all on the line for your people? What defines you? In Ethnic Faith it is not a path tread alone, while we all have our own burdens to carry it is also the responsibility we hold towards each other. That is what is most missing. The Human component.
In our desires to return to our Old Ways, We forgot that we are in fact still here. So we shall ask again Which Cult Are You? This time remember that with each choice carries a responsibility and authority, one does not select such a Cult for aesthetics or Cool Factor but because one cannot choose anything else.

Then We Shall Ask the Question Again and See if the Answer Changed

So today we explained why we did this series. We invite you to go back through all 10 of the cults. We will give you a couple days to contemplate. Then we will ask again… “Who are you?”.

Please join us Thursday and share with us your discovery of yourself. There are no winners or losers no better or worse. The cool kids club is populated by those who are honest both with themselves and with the world, the answer does not matter what matters is the honesty. Thank you for your time and consideration.

If You Missed Any of the Days Please Feel Free to Look them Over Again.

The Druid's Temple

The Druid's Temple in Ilton, Yorkshire was built in the early 1800's as a means to help individuals during an economic downturn, however the builder William Danby of Swinton Park was less successful in hiring an ornamental hermit in which to stay on the area for seven years. It is based off older stone circles like Stonehenge even though it lacks any broader purpose than ornamental function and temporary employment of local laborer's.

The ancient Celts saw the wild boar not only a food source, but also as a trickster and fearsome beast as reflected in lore.
Vicious, they could cause death and chaos if provoked, yet prized for its succulent meat. Tales of this sacred animal can be found in stories of Finn McCool and his band of Fianna.
The Norse god Freyr had a wild boar called Gullinbursti, which means'Golden mane'. Its bristles glowed, lighting his path in the dark.

Very important to our people, yet doesn’t get nearly the respect it deserves, the boar has been a sacred animal to Hyperboreans since the dawn of time.
