Drone over Kiev - analysis by Sir Cheburashka.

Although the dust has not settled, there are important things to consider first.

- The events
- The debate whether this is a Russian Korsar or a Turkish Bayraktar.
- The goals

Lets start with the events:

Recently we have seen what happened in Russia: Kiev tried to perform a terrorist attack with Kamikaze drones against the Kremlin (for those who don’t understand, that’s the equivalent of attacking the White House). Zelensky shat his pants and decided to stay out of Ukraine. He clearly knows that he is in a higher danger after such actions from his military. This suggests that he has not much control over it, but it’s still speculation. Maybe he ordered that attack, or maybe his military did it by himself.

It’s important to ask ourselves, how can Ukraine make up for such an attack? Mirror it and try to make it seem as if Russia attacked Kiev the same way.

Key things to consider:

- Regardless of the drone that was shot down, if this drone was a Korsar (which Kiev will claim it to be), the drone is specifically manufactured for reconnaissance purposes.
- Russia does not need deep reconnaissance of Kiev at the moment.
- The drone was flying in such a visible manner so that people could watch the show (that explains all the footage being published right now).

These three points prove that this “incident” could’ve most likely been staged.

What are the goals?

- Honestly, at this point its unclear if it was from the Russian side, but from my POV, this drone was sent by Ukraine to either perform a show for the people as means of propaganda, or to try justifying their actions by saying “Moscow did the same, so we are now justified with our previous actions.“ It can also be both.

Whether this is a Russian Korsar or a Turkish Bayraktar, that’s still yet to be settled since the “incident” is in a pretty premature stage, but regardless of the type of drone, this whole show makes absolute no sense.

From the Ukrainian side, we know that those types of attacks are pure desperation moves most likely aiming at provoking Russia to respond strongly so that the West gets more involved (and this time, physically) into the conflict. As for my previous statement, we can remember how they reacted to their own S-300 falling on Poland killing innocent civilians and blaming it on Russia, which later the west refused and proceeded to accept that it was Ukrainian.
