Amendment to Senate Bill 1408 had its Third Reading in the Senate today and PASSED! (It still has a ways to go - it must be transmitted to the House now to repeat the readings and Committee of the Whole proceedings in this chamber)
Amendment to SB 1408 says the Legislature has total authority to conduct an investigation into election matters, is subject to no other law, and election materials must be produced.
It also strengthens the "Disobedience of legislative subpoena or refusal to give testimony or produce papers; violation; classification" clause.
If passed into Law, this becomes retroactive to Jan. 2020, which means it applies to the Nov. 3rd election!

Remember Maricopa County Libertarian Party filed suit against the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors? There was an Order to Show Cause Hearing Wednesday. This is the Statement released by the Libertarian Chairman.

Tucson has a Recall underway for their Mayor. If you are in Pima County, please find out how to sign the petition. If you are outside of Pima County, you may still be able to help by volunteering. Usually they need people to help call shops to organize setting up booths/tables. I had no idea it was getting so bad in Tucson. Check out their "Reasons for the Recall" page on their website.

This is one we want to follow. As we all probably know, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors filed a suit against Republican Senate in January, as a stall tactic over the subpoenas. There were two cases, and an Order to Consolidate was granted, so the one to follow is CV2020-016840. Most recently, Karen Fann filed her Answer, and an Oral Argument has been scheduled for next Thursday, 2/25/21.

Many are watching and waiting on the U.S. Supreme today. In its conference, the Court will decide whether the cases from GA, Michigan, and Pennsylvania will proceed.
If the Court says NO, we will know the majority of the Court is corrupt. The cases are based on established, black letter law. The elections in those states were illegal and unconstitutional. They changed the election rules without approval of the state legislatures.
If the Court decides the cases will proceed, we will not know for sure if a majority of the Court is corrupt until final decisions are issued which could take months. Remember the decision in Obamacare?
Maybe the Court will allow the cases to proceed and buy time before the corrupt justices are exposed.
If the majority in the Court is not corrupt, a ruling should be issued today in Pennsylvania case. GA and Michigan should have cert granted with a reversal and remand to follow law in Pennsylvania case.
We are going to learn a great deal about the majority of our Supreme Court justices today whatever the rulings may be.
Keep praying that justice is done today.
