Arizona House Rejects Bill That Would Require ID For Mail-in Ballots
The Arizona House of Representatives on May 26 rejected a bill supported by most Republican state lawmakers that would have required voters to include identification with their mail-in ballots.
Bill SB1713 was rejected on a 29-31 vote with two Republicans, state Reps. Michelle Udall of Mesa and Joel John of Buckeye, joining Democrats in the GOP-led chamber to vote against it.
S.B. 1713, which passed the Republican-led Senate on March 8, would require absentee ballots to include a voter’s date of birth and some form of identifying number as part of the completed affidavit accompanying their mail-in ballots.

The Arizona audit will continue through the holiday weekend. The team is making great progress and is adding scanning stations to relieve a bottleneck in that section of the operation.
One America’s Christina Bobb notes that legislators from other states are taking notice and have signaled an interest in visiting to learn how they might replicate Arizona’s audit process.

Arizona Senators are considering hiring a California-based nonprofit, Citizens’ Oversight, to analyze ballot images to create a third set of numbers to compare with the tabulation from Dominion Voting Systems machines and the hand recount being doing by Cyber Ninjas, a Florida-based firm in charge of the current audit.
The hand recount is focusing on only two races, the presidential election and the U.S. Senate race. Citizens’ Oversight would be using its technology to audit ALL of the races on the ballot.
