Why is Redistricting Important?

Redistricting is the process mandated by the constitution to ensure fair representation as the population changes. When abused, this is called gerrymandering. These gerrymandered maps can discriminate on the basis of party, race or other pieces of identity politics. The Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission (AIRC) is considering hiring Haystaq (formerly Strategic Telemetry), Obama and Bernie’s data company to manage map creation for redistricting.

We need your help. AIRC is meeting this morning at 9AM PST. Please take a minute to comment on how inappropriate it is to use such a biased company for the redistricting mapping process. Bernie and Obama should have zero say in what our maps look like and these guys are funded by them at the national level.

You do not need to be an Arizona resident to comment.

AZ Audit Hearing Update 4/27

The new Maricopa County Judge Martin did not extend the injunction today after an hour-plus long hearing. The audit in Arizona continues for now. Judge Martin says he will rule on the TRO tomorrow at 10:30AM.

He stated: "the Senate has the authority to audit but must balance that with the constitutional rights of voters." He added later: "I'm not persuaded that rights of voters in Maricopa County are being protected,” i.e. he may enforce the TRO tomorrow. Judge said that issue is central to the case,.

This is a biased judge. Keep calling and demand that he recuse himself:

Democrat progressive and Bernie Sanders supporter John Brakey is the co-founder and director Audit USA. On Tuesday Brakey told The War Room the Arizona audit is the first genuine audit since the November election.

They finally discussed the mapping consultant choice in open meeting. They decided to leave public comments open through 8am Thurs morning 4/29. BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: New Judge in Election Case in Arizona, Judge Martin, Was Picked by Judge and Wife of Maricopa County Supervisor, Bill Gates! (AUDIO)

Our reporter made a couple of phone calls to determine who chose Napolitana-appointed Judge Martin to handle this election case in Arizona.

The first call made was to the office of Judge Pamela Gates. It apparently is currently her responsibility to appoint judges in civil cases in the state.

A call was made to Judge Gate’s office, the woman who answered the phone said that it is Judge Gates’ responsibility to appoint judges to civil cases in Arizona, except for election and related audit cases. This lady shared that for the current election audit case, it was Judge Thomason who selected Judge Martin for the case.

So a call was made to Judge Thomason’s office. The lady who answered the phone there said that for the current case Judge Thomason did not select the judge for the case. She said that the judge’s name was provided to their office and Judge Thomason released the information on who the judge was. The woman shared that for recusals it’s the Presiding Judge who appoints the judge. She then shared that it was Judge Gates who provided Judge Martin’s name. See audio clip in link below.

So Judge Pamela Gates, the wife of one of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, Bill Gates, chose who was to preside over the election audit case.  This same Bill Gates is part of the group that has done everything it could to prevent an audit of Maricopa County’s 2020 Election results. His wife just appointed a Janet Napolitano appointed judge to the Maricopa County election audit case.

Judge Martin Must Recuse Himself

‼️Please call the Judge’s Clerk’s Office at 602-372-2925 and ask that Judge Martin recuse himself regarding case number: CV2021-006646. His past relationship with Brown and Bain (now Perkins Coie) is a conflict of interest. Twenty current partners in Perkins Coie LLP were partners in Brown & Bain when AZ Judge Daniel C. Martin worked there as an associate 1992-96. This includes Perkins Coie Brown Bain LLP Daniel C. Barr who is an Intervenor in CV2021-006646.

Furthermore, he was appointed to this case by Judge Gates, the wife of Maricopa Supervisor Bill Gates who has done everything to BLOCK the audit — this is a second clear conflict of interest!

Title 28 of the United States Code (the “Judicial Code”) provides standards for judicial disqualification or recusal.
The official rule states that “[a]ny justice, judge, or magistrate judge of the United States shall disqualify himself in any proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned.” Both federal and state law holds that judges must recuse themselves if there are grounds to do so. Depending on the circumstances, judges are subject to punishment for not recusing themselves.
