The absurd view known as preterism didn't arise until over 1500 years after Christ. It is thoroughly unbiblical. Most of the book of Revelation is yet to happen, followed by a 1,000 year reign of Christ, and then a new Heavens and a new Earth. This is exactly what the Bible says in very simple terms.

Acts 1:2-3 2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

THE KINGDOM IN THE ACTS
In Acts the kingdom was taught by the Lord after His resurrection. Acts 1 :3 tells us that He was with the disciples for forty days, "speaking the things concerning the kingdom of God."

The kingdom was also preached by the apostles. In Acts 8:12 Philip preached "the good news concerning the kingdom of God." Paul also preached the kingdom of God (Acts 19:8; 20:25; 28:23, 31). The last two verses of Acts tell us that Paul "remained two whole years in his own rented dwelling, and welcomed all those coming in to him, proclaiming the kingdom of God..."

Some Bible teachers believe that the kingdom has been suspended due to the rejection of the Jews. They believe that this is not the kingdom age but the church age and that the kingdom will come later on. This teaching is incorrect. As we have seen, the church actually is the kingdom. Even in this age, the church age, the age of grace, the kingdom is here. This is clear from the many references to the kingdom in the book of Acts.

THE KINGDOM IN THE EPISTLES
We can also see the kingdom in the Epistles. The Epistles tell us that the believers have been transferred into the kingdom (Col. 1:13; Heb. 12:28). Also in the Epistles the kingdom is the church life (Rom. 14:17).

First Corinthians 4:17 and 20 also show us that the kingdom is the church life. Verse 17 says, "I have sent Timothy to you..who will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, even as I teach everywhere in every church." Verses 18-20 say, "Now some have been puffed up as though I were not coming to you; but I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know not the speech of those who have been puffed up, but the power; for the kingdom of God is not in speech, but in power." These verses show that the kingdom of God is the church everywhere, and the church everywhere is the kingdom. The kingdom is here because the church is here.

Also in the Epistles some of the believers were the apostleโ€™s fellow workers for the kingdom of God (Col. 4:11). Paul and his fellow workers were working for the kingdom. That means they were working for the church. To work for the church is to work for the kingdom, so the church is the kingdom. The church people will also inherit the kingdom (1 Cor. 6:9-10; 15:50; Gal. 5:21; Eph. 5:5; James 2:5; 1 Thes. 2:12; 2 Pet. 1:11).

THE KINGDOM IN REVELATION
The kingdom is also seen in the book of Revelation. John said he was a joint partaker with the believers in the "kingdom and endurance in Jesus" (1:9). If the kingdom is something for the future, then the endurance must also be for the future. If the endurance is here today, then the kingdom must also be present today. The mentioning of endurance in Revelation 1:9 indicates that the kingdom in which John was is not something yet to come. It is here right now; we are partakers with John in the present kingdom.

This present kingdom will come in its full manifestation after the great tribulation (Rev. 12:10). Then, finally, the kingdom of the world will become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ in the millennium (Rev. 11:15). This is a brief sketch of the teaching in the New Testament concerning the kingdom from the Gospels to the end of Revelation.

ยฒยน For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor euer shall be.

World War II was the most destructive war in history. Estimates of those killed vary from 35 million to 60 million. The total for Europe alone was 15 million to 20 millionโ€”more than twice as many as in World War I.

It is said that 1.1 million non-combatants died in the siege. 60,000 Jews were taken captive, and forced into slavery.

The Day of the Lord is a future day which will come upon an unsuspecting world โ€œlike a thief.โ€16 Life will be going on as usual with men going about their normal routines (see Matthew 24:37-39). Do mockers reject Godโ€™s Word because the world goes on as usual with no indications of impending doom? That is exactly as our Lord said it would be. Yet there is a warning message. Now, as in days of old, God has sent His messengers to proclaim a two-fold message of coming judgment and of salvation and deliverance. If men will be saved, they will be saved by believing in Godโ€™s Word, and not by signs and wonders (see Luke 16:27-31).

A second application of the Day of the Lord should be โ€œlooking for and hasteningโ€ its coming. We believe that Day is coming because Godโ€™s Word tells us so. We need no โ€œsigns and wondersโ€ to prove its imminence; we know because Godโ€™s description of the โ€œlast daysโ€ indicates the day is near. Let us not be caught by surprise when that great day arrives, for we know it is coming, and the time is near. Let us be watching for that great day, as our Lord and His apostles instructed us (Matthew 24:42-43; 25:13; 1 Thessalonians 5:6; 1 Peter 4:7; Revelation 3:2; 16:15).

๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ โ€œTheological questions differ in significance, and Christians are united on some but not all doctrinal matters. For example, all Christians should affirm that Christ will return, but they differ on the nature and sequence of events surrounding his return.โ€
-Dr. Adam Harwood, Christian Theology, 2022

It is outside of Christianity to think that Christ has already returned. Such a belief is heretical.

-Dr. Adam Harwood, Teologรญa Cristiana, 2022

(vea versรญculos anteriores 27-31)

"Esta generaciรณn" se refiere a LA generaciรณn de
creyentes
asi como se utiliza en el Salmo 24:6.

Ademรกs, mirando el capรญtulo paralelo en Lucas 21,
vemos que:

"Jerusalem serรก hollada de las gentes, hasta que los
tiempos de las gentes sean cumplidos."

La persona creyente en el preterismo tendrรญa que
creer que el tiempo del gentiles empezรณ y fue
completado dentro de un aรฑo mรกs o menos.
