Basically, by twisting "worshipping him" into "kneeling down", NKJV, CSB, ESV, NLT, and NIV:

πŸ’₯In addition, the mother of Zebedee's children was "desiring a certain of him". Therefore, it makes sense for them to worship him as they would wanted to have a greater opportunity at being responded/replied to by and desired a certain thing from Jesus in verse 21 , which was for her two sons one to sit on Jesus' left hand and one on his right hand:

So NKJV does not agree with the KJB and the NKJV is not influenced by the KJB but departs from the KJB/the King James Bible. The NKJV is a bridge version to get people away from the real King James Bible and towards heretickal modern versions.

Discard NKJV, CSB, ESV, NLT, and NIV, and get the KJB.

Notes: KJB stands for the King James Bible which is the Word of God in English. NKJV stands for "New King James Version" which is a CORRUPT modern version and is not the same as the KJB.
CSB stands for "Christian Standard Bible" which is another corrupt modern version. ESV stands for "English Standard Version" which is an extra CORRUPT modern version. NLT stands for "National Living Translation" which is another CORRUPT modern version. NIV stands for "New International Version", which is another CORRUPT modern version
