The Amplified Version's tactics are horrible: In the "Amplified Version", it calls itself as "a rigorous attempt to go beyond the traditional β€œword-for-word" (aka it adds extra, unbiblical meanings into the text based on the writer's opinions on word meanings) and puts brackets around tons of words and basically claims to "expand the meaning of words in the text by placing amplification in parentheses, brackets, and after keywords" (Quotes Source from Amplied Version's founders named Lockman Foundation).

Basically the Amplified Version is junk as it adds extra words, which are not supposed to be in & are not found in the text, into the text and puts the Amplified Versions writers' extra opinions on what they think the words' meanings/definitons into the text inside brackets and parenthesis. The Amplified Version literally both confuses the reader and lets them pick and choose multiple word and word phrase defintions to add into one verse, rather than only having one firm word and word phrase for many verses. In sum, the Amplified Version is a loose, pick-and-your-multiple-choice-of-word-definitons and it makes it harder for readers to figure out what the Bible says and means.

For those who claim "the Amplified version has insight", the Amplified Version and its twin called the "Amplified Bible Classic Edition" have no insight, since they contradict 1 Samuel 17:50's account of David slaying Goliath in the valley of Elah [1 Samuel 17:19-51] by having Goliath physically dying two times in two seperate battles in both 1 Samuel 17:50 of David (many years before he became king) and 2 Samuel 21:19's battle of the Philistines vs King David! Stick with the King James Bible/KJB; avoid the Amplified Version/AMP.

In Matthew 3:2, the Amplified  Version twists repentance into works salvationism heresies, promotes the New Age lie of "change your inner self" and promotes multiple unbiblical, works based salvation heresies of "change your inner self, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance, seek God’s purpose for your life" to not perish and be saved😰:

Matthew 3:2 KJB
And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.βœ…πŸ’―πŸ“–

Matthew 3:2 Amplified Version
Repent [change your inner selfβ€”your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.β€βŒπŸ˜°

Changing yourself, regretting past sins, living life to somehow prove repentance, and seeking God's purpose, are works that do not save us. Repentance is a change of mind, not all these works that the Amplified Version add into salvation, because we are saved when we believe on the risen Lord Jesus Christ, not trusting any of our efforts/works/deeds for salvation (Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:36, John 3:15-17, John 6:35, 39-40, Romans 10:9-10, Revelation 22:17 with John 4:14, 6:46, and 7:38, Romans 3:26 & 10:13, Galatians 2:16, Acts 8:37, the second half of verse 17 of Mark Chapter 16, John 11:26, 1 Peter 2:6, Acts 10:43, Romans 1:16, 1 John 5:11, 1 John 2:25, 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18, Mark 9:23, 1 Timothy 1:16, John 9:35-41)

Ephesians 2:8-9 KJB
[8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] not of works, lest any man should boast.πŸ“–

Galatians 2:16 KJB
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.πŸ“–

Part 7: In Mark 1:1-3, Amplified Version/AMP changes "as it is written in the prophets" to "in [the writings of] the prophet Isaiah":

Mark 1:1-3 King James Bible/KJB
The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, Which shall prepare thy way before thee.
The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, Make his paths straight.βœ…πŸ’―πŸ“–

Mark 1:1-3 Amplified/AMP
The beginning of the [facts regarding the] good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
As it is written and forever remains in the [writings of the] prophet Isaiah:
β€œBehold, I send My messenger ahead of You,
Who will prepare Your wayβ€”

A voice of one shouting in the wilderness,
β€˜Prepare the way of the Lord,
Make His paths straight!β€™β€βŒπŸ˜°
AMP Source

Mark 1:1-3 quotes Isaiah 40:31 & Malachi 3:2. AMP lies by calling Malachi's prophecy of Malachi 3:2 as "the writings of...Isaiah" & removes a reference to Malachi by changing "prophets" to "Isaiah"!
πŸ”₯7❀2🀯1
The prophet Isaiah, not Malachi, wrote the prophecy of Isaiah 40:3.
[3] The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Isaiah 40:3 KJB

Mark, in Mark 1:3, quotes Isaiah 40:31.

Malachi wrote the prophecy of Malachi 3:1:
[1] Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me:
Malachi 3:1 KJB
[The Amplifed Version denies that biblical fact in Mark 1:1-3 by calling Mark 1:2's quotation of Malachi 3:1 as "[writings of the] prophet Isaiah".

Mark, in Mark 1:2, quotes Malachi 3:1.

Did you know AMP deletes 1 John 5:7?

1 John 5:7 KJB
For there are three that bear record in Heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these are one.βœ…πŸ’―πŸ“–

1 John 5:7 AMP/Amplified Version
For there are three witnesses:❌😰 Source

1 John 5:7 is important since:
1) 1 John 5:7 is a direct reference to the Godhead/the Trinity.
2)   1 John 5:7 shows us that the Father, the Word [who is Jesus (John 1:1-2, 14, 17 KJB)], and the Holy Ghost bear record in Heaven
3) The words "these three are one" indicate that the Father is God, the Word (Jesus) is God, & the Holy Ghost is God.

By removing 1 John 5:7, the Amplified Version attacks and takes out the Trinity/Godhead and omits the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost.

Discard the Amplified Version/AMP; get, read, and believe the words of the KJB.

The LSV/LSB removes "study" from 2 Timothy 2:15 and changes "Study (KJB) to "Be diligent" (LSV) 😰

2 Timothy 2:15 KJB
[15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.βœ…πŸ’―πŸ“–

2 Timothy 2:15 LSV/LSB
[15] Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. Source

By taking out the word "study" from 2 Timothy 2:15, the LSV:
πŸ’₯Does not tell you, and does not want you, to study the Word of truth [the Bible/God's Word]

πŸ’₯And does not want the LSV/LSB readers to look into and find the many heresies and errors in the LSV.

Discard the corrupt LSV (Legacy Standard Version, & get, read, and believe the words of the truthful KJB (King James Bible).
