In Genesis 1:2, the RV1885 changes "without form" to "waste", and here's why the RV's 1885 revision/change attacks the character of God.
Genesis 1:2 KJB (King James Bible)
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; ...β π―π
Genesis 1:2 RV 1885 (Revised Version 1885)
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was waste and void; ...
βπ°
In the KJB, the words "the earth was without form" show that the earth was not formed as per Genesis 1:2. However, the word "waste" in the RV 1885's words of "the earth was waste" means to be ruined or to be used carelessly with no purpose. Thus, the RV 1885 (Revised Version 1885) makes God look like a carless, destructive Creator that made and laid waste to/ruined/destroyed the earth before suddenly making the earth again in the beginning in Genesis 1:1. Thus, the Revised Version 1885 is lying, and the King James Bible is correct as shown below.
Also, the RV 1885βs words [in Genesis 1:2 of Revised Version 1885] of βAnd the earth was wasteβ goes against Isaiah 45:18βs words shows that God created the earth not in vain and thus defeats the RV 1885βs above words because if God wasted the earth as per the faulty, lying RV 1885βs words of Genesis 1:2, then God would created the earth in vain, which is unbiblical as God called everything he made as very good:
Isaiah 45:18 KJB
For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
Genesis 1:31 KJB
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Part 1: Who wrote the deceptive Codex Sinaiticus?
Answer: Constantine Simonides wrote Codex Sinaiticus. In Constantine Simonides' own words, he stated:
"I sailed from the Piraeus in the month of November, 1839, and landed again at Athos for the fifth time. After a few days I undertook the task of transcribing the Codex, the text of which, as I remarked before, had many years previously been prepared for another purpose." (Letter of C. Simonides, The Journal of Sacred Literature and Biblical Record, April 1863 [which is in Page 228 of The Journal of Sacred Literature and Biblical Record)].)
"I undertook this work then, not as a tyro, but as one versed in the ancient writing, for before this work, as I have menitioned above, I had written the Olynthiacs of Demosthenes in ancient characters, and had copied at twelve years Oifage the ancient inscriptions in the Aegina collection, besides four of the services at Mount Athos, in 1837, in golden letters, ancient and modern" (Letter of C. Simonides, The Journal of Sacred Literature and Biblical Record, April 1863 [which is in Page 229 of The Journal of Sacred Literature and Biblical Record)].)
"Besides, the penmanship of the Sinaitic Codex is my more usual style;... (Letter of C. Simonides, The Journal of Sacred Literature and Biblical Record, April 1863 [which is in Page 229 of The Journal of Sacred Literature and Biblical Record)].)
"I wrote letters not long since in the same style with a common pen and upon ordinary paper to the Editor of the Guardian; to Professor Shillito or Cambridge; Mr. Henry Bradshaw, keeper of MSS. in the university library of Cambridge; ...To Mr. H. Bradshaw I wrote as follows:
Dear SirβThey who believe the Sinaitic Codex to be ancient are deceived, for I am the worker of the miracle, and many of the witnesses are still alive. Farewell.β Christ's College, Oct. 7, 1862.' (Letter of C. Simonides, The Journal of Sacred Literature and Biblical Record, April 1863 [which is in Page 229 of The Journal of Sacred Literature and Biblical Record)].
Herein, Constantine Simonides admitted:
1) That he started to work on writing Codex Sinaiticus in November 1839
2) That Codex Sinaiticus (which Simonides calls as "Sinaitic Codex") is not ancient
3) That the same penmanship style that he used to write to Mr. H. Bradshaw in the 1800s, was also the same penmanship style that he utilized when writing what he called the "Sinaitic Codex" (also known as Codex Sinaiticus)
The "Codex Sinaiticus" is a massive, hoaxed codex that is from the 1800s, not from the 4th century AD.
