In 2 Samuel 21:19, the Geneva version lies by saying that Elhanah killed Goliath, even though we know that David actually killed Goliath.
βAnd there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim, a Beth-lehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam.β
2 Samuel 21:19 KJBβ π―π
βAnd there was yet another battel in Gob with the Philistims, where Elhanah the sonne of Iaare-oregim, a Bethlehemite slewe Goliath the Gittite: the staffe of whose speare was like a weauers beame.β

Thankfully, the King James Bible tells the truth by clearly saying David slew Goliath.
1 Samuel 17:50 KJB
[50] So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.β π―π
1 Samuel 21:8 - 9 KJB

Part 2 of "In Psalm 12:6-7" Series: In Psalm 12:6, the CEB takes out "the words of the LORD (KJB) and replaces it with "the LORD's promises" (CEB).
Psalm 12:6-7 KJB
[6] The words of the LORD are pure words: As silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
[7] Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, Thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.β π―π
Psalms 12:6-7 CEB
[6] The LORDβs promises are pure, like silver thatβs been refined in an oven, purified seven times over!
[7] You, LORD, will keep us, protecting us from this generation forever.βπ°
In verse 6, the KJB correctly keeps the word "preserve" and affirms that the LORD's words are preserved forever.
However, the CEB removes and attacks the doctrine of the preservation of God's word by replacing "preserve" with "protect".
Preserve means to keep, uphold, and save from corruption forever.
Protect means to cover or defend from danger and enemies.
There is a massive difference between the biblical word of "preserve" in Psalm 12:6-7 and the degrading word of "protect".
As per the KJB, God preserved His preserved, inspired words forever!
By changing "preserve" (KJB) to "protect" (CEB) in Psalms 12:6-7, the CEB subtily denies that God preserved His preserved words forever from being corrupted.
"Them" [refering to the LORD God's words] (KJB) is degraded to "us" in the CEB [us always refers to 2 or more people and does not refer to objects or written, preserved wordsπ°].
Comparsions in Psalms 12:6-7:
"them" (KJB) - refering to "the words of the LORD are pure words" [which matches and cross references with Matthew 24:35 and Isaiah 40:8] β
But the word "us" (CEB) refers to the "the poor" and "the needy" of Psalms 12:6-7, thus replacing "them" (KJB) with "us" (CEB) and destroying the valuable assurance of God's ability to preserve His words forever.π°
Every word matters! Modern versions often twist and replace key words to attack the preservation of God's word because those who made the modern versions sadly do not believe that God preserved His inspired words forever.
If you have a CEB, discard the CEB, and get and read the KJB.

The ESV attacks Jesus by sadly making him unbiblically look like a impure sinner & unbiblically making him need to be purified in Luke π°
Luke 2:22 KJB
And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;β π―π
Luke 2:22 ESV
[22] And when the time came for their purification according to the Law of Moses, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lordβπ°
"Their" in "their purification" in Luke 2:22 KJB is Joseph, Jesus, and Mary, because Luke 2 ESV says:
Luke 2:16 , 21 ESV
[16] And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger.
[21] And at the end of eight days, when he was circumcised, he was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.βπ°
Leviticus 12:2 , 4 ESV
[2] βSpeak to the people of Israel, saying, If a woman conceives and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days. As at the time of her menstruation, she shall be unclean.
[4] Then she shall continue for thirty-three days in the blood of her purifying. She shall not touch anything holy, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying are completed. βπ°
Thus, the ESV contradicts itself by saying "their purification" [of Joseph, Mary and Jesus (Luke 2:16, 22) versus "she [only the woman needing to be purified] shall be unclean" and "her purifying" in Leviticus 12:2 , 4 ESV .
The ESV is not consisent on and confuses and lies to the reader on who was purified. God is not the author of confusion, but Satan is the father of lies and the deciever of the world (John 8:44, Revelation 12:9)
Thankfully, the KJB is consisent and correct because it says Mary (Luke 2:16, 22 KJB), not Jesus (Luke 2:16, 22 ESV), was purified.
Leviticus 12:2, 4 KJB
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
[4] And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled. β π―π
Luke 2:22 KJB
[22] And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord; β π―π
The point on KJB vs ESV on Luke 2:22:
KJB: "her purification" β π―π (only Mary had to be purified - Leviticus 2:22 KJB)
ESV: "their purification" βπ° [including Jesus, thus unbiblically implying that Jesus was somehow not pure.)
Only Mary, not Jesus, had to be purified (Luke 2:22 KJB) to fulfill the law of purification for a woman who conceieved seed/a child (Leviticus 12:2, 4 KJB).
The KJB is right because Jesus is always pure:
1 John 3:2 - 3 KJB
[2] Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. [3] And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
[8] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Jesus is the "he shall appear" and "he is pure" of 1 John 3:23 because Revelation 19 says:
Revelation 19:11 -13 KJB
[11] And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
[13] And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
As per the KJB, Jesus is pure and never had to be purified, because Jesus is God in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16; John 1:1-2, 1:14, 1:17) and never sinned (1 Peter 2:2).

Psalm 12:6-7 KJB

[7] Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, Thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.β π―π

[6] The Lordβs words are absolutely reliable. They are as untainted as silver purified in a furnace on the ground, where it is thoroughly refined.
[7] You, Lord, will protect them; you will continually shelter each one from these evil people,βπ°
By replacing the important "preserve" (KJB) with the word "shelter" (NET), the NET attacks, casts unbiblical doubt on, and degrades the biblical doctrine of the preservation of God's words.
Preserve means to keep, uphold, and save from corruption forever.
Shelter means to cover or defend from injury or violence.
Ae per the KJB, and not the NET, God promised to preserve, not shelter, His inspired words forever!
Bonus: In Psalm 12:6-7, if God's words were "sheltered" (NET) instead of "preserved" (KJB), then "shelter" implies that God's words are covered/buried in the ground, and thus the NET's version of Psalm 12:6-7 would prevent of mankind today, almost 2,000 years after Jesus acension to Heaven, from accessing and reading God's words!?π°
As per the KJB in Psalm 12:6-7, God correctly did and forever does "preserve", not "shelter" (NET), His words for us to read.
In addition, in Psalm 12:7, the KJB shows and verifies that God preserves "His words"/"them" forever. The KJB keeps the word "them", which refers back to "the words of the LORD" in Psalm 12:6 KJB, but the NET first uses the word "them" before replacing "them" with an unspecific "each one" that does not refer to what was "sheltered".
By adding "each one" of instead of KJB, the NET destroys the cross reference (of God's words shalt be preserved forever) between Psalm 12:7 and Psalm 12:6 and leaves it up to the reader to vainly interpret what is being sheltered or preserved. And as per 2 Peter 1:20-21, the Scriptures [God's Word] are not of man's private interpretation, yet the NET unbiblically gives room for the reader to insert their own definition of what is the NET's vague "each one".
According to the NET, it sadly implies God did not preserve his words forever, contrary to Psalm 12:6-7. It even implies God's words are just sheltered, implying a merely hidden existence of God hiding his words away from people.
If you have the NET, discard the NET and get and read the KJB instead.

A new modern version named "The Second Testament: A New Translation" [by Scot McKnight] twists John 3:16 into New Age, evolutionist nonsense:
John 3:16 "The Second Testament: A New Translation"
"For God loved the Kosmos in such way that he gave his only son, so everyone trusting in him may not be destroyed but have Era life"βπ° π₯΄π₯΄π€‘π©
John 3:16 KJB
[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.β π―π
There are 4 major heretickal problems with The Second Testament: A New Translation's version of John 3:16:
1. "The Second Testament: A New Translation" version pushes annihilationism heresy in the words "everyone trusting in him may not be destroyed" because according to that version, those who do not trust in Him (Jesus) will be destroyed. However the KJB clearly says that those who do not believe/get saved and those who take the Mark of the Beast and the beast's name or number in their right hands or foreheads shall be cast alive into the Lake of Fire and be tormented alive with fire and brimstone forever and ever.
Revelation 14:11 KJB
[11] and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. β π―π
Revelation 20:10, 15 KJB
[10] And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
[15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. β π―π
2. This same version takes out "begotten" from "his only son" which strips Jesus of his deity and denies that Jesus is God and the Son of God the Father.
John 3:16 KJB keeps begotten:
[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,...
John 3:16 in "The Second Testament: A New Translation' removes "begotten", thus attacking and denying Jesus' deity and that Jesus is God the Son:
"For God loved the Kosmos in such way that he gave his only son,..."βπ°
3. This same version removes the words "everlasting life" (KJB) and replaces it with a confusing, unspecific, watered down "era life" (. The word "era life" both evolutionist and New Age term and removes God's promise and assurance of providing everlasting life to all who believe on the risen Lord Jesus Christ.
4. It adds the word "Kosmos" which is an evolutionist term that is never mentioned in the KJB, the Textus Receptus, or the Masoretic Text. Also, the unbiblical word "Kosmos" contradicts the biblical firmament of Genesis 1:4-6, 14-17 KJB.
Unlike the heretickal The Second Testament: A New Translation's version of John 3:16, the KJB in John 3:16 correctly keeps the words "begotten Son", "shall not perish" and "everlasting life" and shows that all that believe on Jesus, God's only begotten Son, have everlasting life.

In Romans 8:1, the NASB 1977 removes the words "who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit".
Romans 8:1 KJB
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:1 NASB 1977
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.βπ°
The NASB1977 remove the bolded words in order to prevent saved believers from knowing that they can walk after the Holy Spirit.
John 14:26 KJB
[26] But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 15:26 KJB
[26] But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
How can a saved believer voluntarily walk after the Spirit [Disclaimer: this can only happen after salvation and does not define salvation itself. Salvation is when someone gets saved not by works, but by believing the Lord Jesus died and rose.]? By living a godly life and reading and studying God's Word [the KJB is God's preserved, inspired Word in English]:
Titus 2:12 KJB
[12] teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
2 Timothy 2:15 KJB
[15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Why can saved Christians choose to walk after the Spirit? Because they are sealed and taught by the Holy Ghost/the Spirit of God and are secured eternally by and never plucked out of the Father's hands and the Son's hands forever:
π And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Ephesians 4:30 KJB
πMy sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
John 10:27 - 29 KJB

Part 4 of "In Psalm 12:6-7" Series:
The LSB takes out "preserve" (KJB) from Psalm 12:6-7 and changes "them" (refering to God's words) [KJB] to a mere "him" that destroys the cross reference between the word "the words of the LORD" of Psalm 12:6 and the words "preserve them from this generation forever" of Psalm 12:7.
Psalm 12:6-7 KJB
Psalm 12:6-7 LSB
Preserve means to keep, uphold, and save from corruption forever.
Guard means to defend from injury or loss.
By replacing the important "preserve" (KJB) with the word "guard" (LSB), the LSB attacks, casts unbiblical doubt on, and degrades the biblical doctrine of the preservation of God's words.
In Psalm 12:7, the word "them" [refering to the LORD God's words in Psalm 12:6] (KJB) is degraded and lowered to a "him" in the LSB [him" always refers to 1 man, and does not refer to objects or written, preserved words π°], thus denying that God will preserve His words forever.
If you have a LSB discard the LSB, and get and read the KJB.
Note: LSB stands for the "Legacy Standard Bible" which is a corrupt modern version.
