🌱 Idag infaller vårdagjämningen i Skandinavien som enligt gammal Nordisk tradition räknas som vårens första dag, när tjälen i marken snart släpper och naturen sakta fylls av pånyttfödelse. Nu går vi in i Vanernas tid – den feminina delen av året förknippat med livgivande, fruktbarhet och solen, Sunna.

🌱 Vårdagjämningen ger förebud om vår och förr i Skandinavien var det en av årets viktigaste dagar att uppmärksamma, man tände stora brasor likt vi gör än idag vid Vanadisblotet och Valborgsmässoafton. Arbetet följde årstiderna och när våren kom övergick arbetet i gårdarna i en energirik period – det är nu som vårbruket med plöjning, harvning, gödsling och sådd inleds. Deuteronomy 15:6 - For the LORD your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you.

Deuteronomy 23:19-20: “You shall not charge interest on loans to your brother, interest on money, interest on food, interest on anything that is lent for interest. You may charge a foreigner interest, but you may not charge your brother interest, that the Lord your God may bless you in all that you undertake in the land that you are entering to take possession of it.

The Torah only states that usury shall not be practiced against other israelites, but may be practiced against foreigners (gentiles).. And further in the new testament were jesus chases the money handlers from the temple, is because it is against scripture to lend to other jews. Jesus came to fulfill Torah law.

Christianity has turned our consciousness inside out. We stand outside ourselves and look back on ourselves in judgment to see if we are thinking and behaving as the foreign pantheon would have us think and behave.

The naturally evolved mode of consciousness is to stand within ourselves and look out at the world through our own eyes. We conduct ourselves according to what we deem appropriate and necessary for ourselves, without an external measure provided by foreigners who've sworn to destroy us.

Our natural weltanschauung does not look outside of itself for answers. It produces its own answers, before there are even questions to ask.

Christian consciousness flows from outside ourselves to within. It is consumer consciousness. Our native consciousness flows from within to outside ourselves. It is creator consciousness.

The forms of deities and rituals that christianity savagely destroyed are only that — forms. With our consciousness flowing in it's own natural, unsubverted direction, new deities and forms will come forth that are even better suited to the world as it is. And indeed, our native lore tells us that this will happen, because that is how our naturally-evolved weltanschauung operates.

So no, pagans do not have a book of rules, a list of doctrines, scrolls of dogma by which to compete in the same inside-out space as christianity. It never will, because dogma is not the way of nature. Creativity is the way of nature. All we offer is an invitation to rejoin the creative flow, our native weltanschauung, and an opportunity to join in the creation of whatever we decide we want next.

Bede is quoted as stating our English ancestors only observed two seasons, summer which started when the light returns after the efnniht and winter when the light diminishes:

This can be seen in the shape of the Elder Futhark Jera rune which is the only rune split into two, summer and winter. The Old English Gér rune carries the same symbolism but has a central stave running through the middle. Jera and Gér both mean year as well as harvest associating the runes with the end of the year whilst the cognate Slavic terms Jara and Jaro both mean spring.
