No matter who it is who's trying to lead you, who it is trying to "fix the world", be it politicians, media personalities, religious leaders - Unless their message is that we must return to natural law, that we must return to a life close to Nature, that we must return to self reliance and responsibility - If their message is anything but that, they are lying.

It's pretty simple..

🌿Nature vs anti-nature.

"Might makes right" say the christians, regarding the wars on pagans. "Jesus won, because we follow him. He's the truth" is an argument i see a lot (even though loads of us are still heathens.). What they tend to leave aside: most battles was made of hordes taking down unsuspecting villages (like when Charlemagne sacked Irminsúl, and chopped the giant tree).
However, let's look at something, happening, today. Islam is gaining territory. They build mosques, and are taking over. But when we apply the same logic, they get in denial. Is islam winning a sign that they have the true religion? Is Muhammed a more powerful figure? Is he the true voice of (((God)))? Just think about that, for a minute.
The big difference is that when christians fought pagans, there was a fight (the saxon wars, viking age, and even the greeks rebelled. Olaf was ambushed, in the Baltic Sea). However, we don't see christians defend their fake heritage.
In my opinion, deep down, they know it doesn't belong to them.

There was a time not so long ago when we honored tradition, were self sufficient, our environment was clean, and our money actually had value. We could return there and it would take care of 90% of everything. Nobody wants to go "backwards" they say. It's not backwards, it's what works.

Self confidence is critical to surviving as a free person. Without self confidence people tend to avoid responsibility. Instead they will delegate it to an "authority", to leaders, rulers, who will relieve them of the responsibility of guiding their present and future. Even when wishing to alter an established order they will remain acquiescent because they lack confidence in their ability to effect the desired change. As long as people lack self confidence they are unlikely to do anything other than cooperate, obey and submit to their rulers.

Last weekend we celebrated Midzomer with our Dutch fellow pagans from Swesaz. The 9 herbs and 9 kinds of wood have gone into this fire as an offering. The days are getting shorter and we hope for a good time of harvest.

It was a wonderful weekend full of celebrations, honoring the ancient traditions of our ancestors, good food, drinks and warm conversations.
