I did CPR on a crash victim until paramedics arrived. They said I saved her life. I am now being sued by her for breaking a rib. What do I do?

It's really helped me lately to make two lists:

1.) Things I care about and my goals
2.) Actions I've actually taken towards those

This helps align what I like (or want) and what I'm actually doing.

Sometimes, these paths diverge a bit.

At times, I THINK a lot about something, but don't do that much towards it - even if I care about it a lot.

Now, obviously, it isn't always possible to work on everything we care about. Sometimes we're busy, and hey, I also have several things I enjoy doing, I get it. I wish I had more time for music, for example.

However, this has helped me take small AND large steps towards things and people I care about. A little bit can go a long way.

For example:

- If I think a lot about someone or worry about them, they might have no idea. Maybe I should call or text them when I get a chance. A text can be done in a few seconds. Obviously not all friends need to be "maintained" like this, but sometimes people don't know we think about them if we don't say anything.

- I can better see if something requires more time. If I'm working on an exercise and haven't hit my goals in a while, how much time am I actually spending on it? Writing it down, it might be less than I realized - ESPECIALLY if it's something we think about a lot.

- On the other hand, it may also help me know what I might spend too much time on. These aren't always bad things. I love my friends in the group chats - they're hilarious. Hanging out with them is awesome too. But will they understand if I need to spend extra time for a few months fulfilling some responsibilities? Absolutely.

This helps me not only arrange my active hours, but also better structure my rest time - I find it more enjoyable that way.

Just wanted to share a bit! If this can help you - that's great.
