Governor Kathy Hochul, for political reasons, has terminated all Data Centers being built, or to be built, in New York State. These Companies are now being sought in Alabama, Florida, Texas, Arizona, and many other States. Both the Taxes and the Jobs amount to LIQUID GOLD! New York State has made a terrible decision. All of this Income, and other Benefits, will be going to Red States, and some Blue, where Data Centers are sought as Cash Cows, with Lower Taxes and Record Setting Jobs. They must pay for their own Water and Power, and any leftover goes back to the State and local Community. Data Centers are tremendous WINS for the States and Communities that are lucky enough to get them. New York should change its Policy, IMMEDIATELY. Maricopa County has submitted 13 nominees to Governor Katie Hobbs to fill three vacancies on the Maricopa County Superior Court.

The list includes:
• 5 Democrats
• 5 Independents
• 3 Republicans

Given Governor Hobbs' appointment record and political priorities, we don't expect her to select a single Republican from this list. Rather than seeking judicial balance, we expect her to continue appointing judges who align with her political ideology.

Judicial appointments matter. Judges make decisions that affect our constitutional rights, elections, criminal justice, parental rights, property rights, and the rule of law for years—often decades. That's why these appointments deserve far more public attention than they receive.

With six days remaining before Arizona's 2026 primary, 632,603 early ballots have been returned. Republicans hold a narrow lead with 288,089 ballots (45.5%) to Democrats' 282,602 (44.7%), a margin of 5,487 ballots, while independents account for 61,912 ballots (9.8%). Overall turnout is tracking well below 2022, with early voting reaching only 52% of the previous primary's total. At the current pace, Arizona is projected to finish with about 971,000 early ballots, roughly 80% of the 2022 total.

Republicans have gained momentum during the final stretch of early voting, erasing a Democratic lead of more than 9,000 ballots since July 7 and now leading statewide. Daily ballot returns have favored Republicans (27,494 per day) over Democrats (23,328 per day), and Maricopa County has shifted from a small Democratic advantage to a 9,287-ballot Republican lead. Independent participation is significantly lower than in 2022, and among independents choosing a partisan ballot, the split has shifted from 60% Republican / 40% Democrat in 2022 to 54% Democrat / 46% Republican so far in 2026.

CBS Hires Chinese Embassy To Fact-Check Chinese Election Interference

WASHINGTON, D.C. - CBS News confirmed Thursday that the Chinese Embassy will now serve as the network’s independent fact-checking department for all stories involving Chinese election interference, following the embassy’s assurance that China has never interfered and never will.

“The accused government reviewed the accusations against itself and found no wrongdoing,” a CBS editor said while replacing the network’s source guide with a laminated statement from Beijing. “That meets our standard for independent verification.”

Under the new procedure, claims involving Chinese hacking, espionage, voter data, or election influence will be forwarded to embassy officials, who will select “false” from a drop-down menu before CBS places the denial above whatever evidence the White House released.

The arrangement is expected to reduce newsroom costs, since Beijing already writes the copy.

At publishing time, CBS had asked the Chinese Embassy whether China controls American media and was preparing to broadcast its denial.
